William So was born in Hong Kong on the 24th of September 1967. The Cantopop singer also has a flair in acting, and was featured in many movies and Hong Kong TV series.

So began his music career by participating in the New Talent Singing awards back in 1985, and won the competition as the first runner up. This achievement earned him a contract with the record label Capital Artist. So released his EP in 1998 and his hit song “Kiss More, Sad More” was the theme song for the popular Hong Kong drama “Healing Hands” which he was also featured in. It was also this song also won him several awards back in 1998.
